Giorgos Bakalis joined Machas & Partners in 2023 as an Associate lawyer and mainly deals with cases involving Civil Law.

Giorgos gained valuable experience before court as well as in the field of legal advisory services. He has experience in the field of Greek court practice and has handled cases of corporate, banking, obligations, family, inheritance law and third-party liability from car accidents. He is licensed to practice law before the first-degree Courts of Athens. His diploma thesis focused on “the interpretation of Article 527 of the Greek Code of Civil Procedure” which refers to the presentation of allegations in court.

Previously, Giorgos has gained valuable experience working as a trainee lawyer for the Ministry of Justice and the National Bank of Greece.
