Christos Georgantzos assists corporations and public entities on public law matters, whether in transactional or litigation cases. He has particular expertise in representing public entities and big groups in all their extra-judicial and judicial litigation cases related to public tenders for procurement, PPPs and public contracts.

In addition, Christos has developed acute expertise in handling cases relating to administrative fines/sanctions and electoral disputes. He also intervenes in corporate law matters, notably in acquisition and reorganization transactions, in synergy with other partners.

Before joining Machas & Partners law firm in 2011, Christos acted as an advisor to the Technical Chamber of Greece and served as legal advisor to the Greek Minister of Tourism and the Greek Minister of National Education. He has also acted for the Technical Chamber of Greece in the preparation and the transposition of relevant EU directives into national law, as well as for a major Greek entity with regard to several tourism projects in Greece.

During the past years Christos acted for the Greek Ministry of Justice with participation in the drafting and amendment of the legislation related to the European arrest warrant and the Extradition procedure in Greece, as well as for the Greek Ministry of Development in relation to the drafting of the first Greek law on strategic investments and the golden visa.

Christos is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of Greece.
